About 2000 years ago Jesus came into the picture and was a little disappointed with the ideas and attitudes of religious people. The idea that putting on a good front was more important that a relationship with God; the idea that maintaining laws and rules were more important than trusting in God for guidance; the attitude that church wasn’t for everyone, just a select few.Jesus saw things differently. He enjoyed people; got to know them on a personal level in spite of their many flaws. He still loved them, healed them, and even died for them. Some things never change. So you see, we’re trying to be the church that He promoted. Something more than rules and regulations. At our core, we’re about relationships.
